The mission of the Derby Group is to provide the highest quality service in forwarding and logistics for our international partners.<\/p>\r\n

Besides meeting or even exceeding the expectations of our clients, a chief goal of ours is to create a stable, long-term working environment for our colleagues, and to ensure, that in addition to the professional challenges, a proper work-life balance is enjoyed by all our employees.<\/p>\r\n

Following careful preparations and planning we founded Derby Trans Kft.<\/strong>, as a family enterprise in 1996. At that time, we started forwarding with only 2 employees and one 7.5 tonne tatuliner truck.<\/p>\r\n

One year later, we took a large step forward, thanks to our collaboration with Chemoldanzas we dealt closely with IBM<\/strong>. Our company used to deliver directly from Sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1r to Frankfurt am Main, Airport<\/strong>. As a result of our high standard of performance and the confidence our partners placed in us, we could expand our fleet with six 7.5 ton trucks in order to serve increased demand.<\/p>\r\n

The next milestone was in 1999, when we acquired our first 40 tonne vehicle. This year our company was able to accomplish our first 1 Million forwarded kilometres<\/strong>, and we are still very proud of this achievement.<\/p>\r\n

As the new millennium dawned upon us, we further enlarged our large capacity fleet, this had grown to eight 40 tonne trucks<\/strong> by the end of 2004 all of which were available for utilisation by our partners. Hungary\u2019s EU accession also happened during this year, which gave us free access to the European international forwarding market, which enabled us to build relationships with<\/strong> well-known and highly respected operators, such as Wallenborn and K\u00fchne&Nagel<\/strong>. As a result of this increased business, our 40 tonne truck fleet grew to 15 vehicles.<\/p>\r\n

During the following 13 years of operation we decided, that besides expanding our fleet we needed to diversify our service, thus we implemented our first thermo trailers. The introduction of thermo-trailers was not the end of the diversification of our business, since we launched DHL Linehaul in 2013. The same year, our fleet has already grown to 40 trucks.<\/p>\r\n

We are proud, that as a strong Hungarian enterprise we can provide a stable working environment for nearly 210 employees.<\/p>\r\n

Derby Trans has received ISO-9001<\/strong> certification.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

By 2016<\/strong>, an increasing number of our existing partners had requested that we should expand our business to include tautliner trucks combined with our extraordinary high quality service. So to cater for this demand, a new affiliate, Derby Logistics Kft.<\/strong> was born. These tautliner trailers, so called MEGA<\/strong> trailers, are specialized for the automotive industry by utilizing the whole interior height. Since 2017 we have been evolving the new company by dealing with reliable international partners and renowned car industry logistic providers.<\/p>\r\n

Nowadays, we serve our partners\u2019 needs with 90 vehicles<\/strong>. In total, we had completed 12 Million kilometres<\/strong> on the roads in Europe so far.<\/p>\r\n

Our development will not cease here, though, as we are continually improving and enlarging our company in order to provide tailor- made solutions to satisfy your needs and promote the development of your company<\/strong>.
